How to Pitch a Fastpitch softball

To pitch a ball you'll need a baseball(softball) mitt and a few softballs/softballs. Make sure you practice in open areas. It's also a good idea to pitch against a net or hard surface, so the ball doesn't go too far. During the winter, you can practice in a basement or gym. To become a good player, you should practice in progressions. Progressions are steps that go together and make the pitch.

Progressions

  • Progression 1: Get Ready

    • Put both hands beside your waist.
    • Thrust your wrist up while leaving fingers, ball, and arm in the same place.
    • Snap your hand forward as hard as you can. Try to make the ball go straight.
  • Progression 2: Start Pitching
